Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical engineering is a discipline of engineering that applies the principles of physics and materials science for analysis, design, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. It is the branch of engineering that involves the production and usage of heat and mechanical power for the design, production, and operation of machines and tools. It is one of the oldest and broadest engineering disciplines.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs)

1. Graduates will be able to apply technical knowledge to solve engineering problems relating to thermal engineering, production engineering, material science, solid and fluid mechanics.
2. Apply the principles of design, analysis and its implementation for mechanical processes.
3. Develop and implement new ideas on product design and development with the help of modern CAD/CAM tools, while ensuring best manufacturing practices
