The aim of this seminar is “Power Quality Issues, Challenges and Solution” is awareness about power quality requirement in power system to the students and it also helpful to recognize students’ level of knowledge.
The program was started with the introduction and felicitation guests, Dr. Naimish Zaveri, Head of Department, Electrical Engineering Department, C. K. Pithawala Institute of Technology, Surat. Prof. N. R. Patel gave basic idea about power quality and its related issues. Dr. Naimish Zaveri gave a detailed lecturer on POWER QUALITY. He conducted the topics like, power quality issues & challenges faced by industry and distribution company, present scenario of power quality in power system, issues and solutions related to power quality, newer technology to improve power quality in power system.
It was an informative, interesting and a successful seminar. As students of Electrical Engineering, we learned about power quality, requirement in power system and what types of steps is require to improve power quality in power system. He explained about myths about power quality, its pros & cons. He also explained about safety related issues in power quality.
We all are thankful to expert who guided students with each and every question with detailed answers. We all, members of Electrical Engineering Department, SSASIT, are thankful to each and every member involved in arranging such a tremendously conversant and wonderful seminar for the welfare of students. We are heartily thankful to Mr. Jayesh Mistry, Electrician, EED, SSASIT without him it not possible to conduct such a pleasing seminar and Mr. Divyesh Lakhani, Lab Assistant, EED, SSASIT who helped us to complete outside work related to seminar.
